2021 HERA Receives Record-breaking Number of Entries

Hong Kong, 5 August 2021 – Hong Kong ESG Reporting Awards (HERA) Limited is delighted at having received nearly 90 entries for HERA 2021, an increase of approximately 40% compared to that of last year. The overwhelming response demonstrates the growing dedication of entrepreneurs to ESG practices.

Tony Wong, Director of Hong Kong ESG Reporting Limited, stated: “The escalating participation is a testament to the independence and professionalism of HERA. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all participating companies as their involvement is critical to develop industry best practices. ESG has become mainstream. Going forward, HERA will continue to play a pivotal role in contributing to the rising quality of ESG disclosures.”

An independent panel of judges is currently evaluating all submissions. HERA’s panel of judges comprises senior industry experts, including Deputy Executive Director and Head of the Public Policy Institute at the Our Hong Kong Foundation, Stephen Wong; Associate Professor, Division of Public Policy at HKUST, Dr. Yarime Masaru; CEO of the Chamber of Hong Kong Listed Companies, Mike Wong; Chief Scientific Officer of the Jockey Club Museum of Climate Change, Matthew Pang; Managing Director and Portfolio Manager of Keywise Asset Management, Lisa Djeng; Artificial intelligence platform dedicated to promoting sustainable finance through ESG data and technology, MioTech.

The winners will be announced on 28 October 2021. Logos of winning companies will be showcased on the Nasdaq MarketSite at New York’s Times Square.
